Spider webs have impacted society because spiders are able to create flexible and strong silk which can be made into certain things. For example the video above shows a cape made from silk spun by 1.2 million spiders. Its now placed in Londons Victoria and Albert Museum.
I find this topic interesting because its amazing how such a little animal like a spider can make something so strong and useful. Who knew spider webs would make a famous cape made of silk?
